The MSA V-Gard Helmet has a comfortable shell and suspension unit that offers lightweight protection with limited resistance to top impact and penetration. The design of the shell is attractive which will assist with worker acceptance of this helmet. The shell of this helmet is made from a lightweight polyethylene and is slotted so accessories such as hearing protection, can be mounted on the cap.

The V-Gard slotted hard hats have the Fas-Trac ratchet suspension which allows for the hat to be adjusted by a knob while being worn to fit 4 different sizes. This hard hat can be adjusted to fit sizes 6 1/2 to 8.

Replacement Hard Hat Suspension is available from MSA as the 473332 Ratchet Adjustment Suspension.
