Description: GME Silver Zinc Cold Galvanizing Compound is a high quality Liquid Organic Zinc Coating that combines the protection of zinc and the appearance of Hot Dip Galvanizing. It is formulated for touch up of damaged or weathered galvanized surfaces. Silver Zinc Compound provides long-lasting protection against corrosion in the most hostile salt-water environments.

Some of the primary uses include touch-up and repair of galvanized towers, fences, gates, trailers and all inorganic zinc coatings and galvanized metal. Unlike paint, it will not allow for rust to creep underneath the surface. Its bright appearance serves as both a primer and topcoat. A coating of silver paint is not necessitated saving time and money. After being applied, via brush, roller or sprayer, Silver Zinc Primer provides the highest level of galvanic protection. The film of Zinc Rich Primer is conductive. It will not allow steel to corrode, even when the surface is scratched. If surface is scratched or dented, zinc in the surrounding area will provide further galvanic protection preventing corrosion.

GME Silver Zinc Primer is an excellent alternative to Hot Dip Galvanize due to the fact that it does not require the heat of Hot Dip Galvanize. It is applied at ambient temperature; there is no heat required and no chance of it warping or brittling thinner gauge metals. Applications are done on-site with no expensive freight costs to ship parts to a Hot Dip Galvanizer.
